Purple with Stamped Silver Hearts (52 Week Challenge)
Up until now, I have been posting my 52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge manicures on a Sunday, but seeing as this has a Valentine’s theme, I thought it best to post it today.
The base is two coats of Barry M Orchid, the shimmery purple from the Silks collection. You can’t see the silky, matte finish as I’ve top-coated this. But I prefer the silks top-coated anyway; they have more depth because the shimmer shows up better.
Then I’ve stamped using Barry M Foil Effects Silver and a plate from Born Pretty Store, QA86.
I hope you’re having a lovely Valentine’s Day. My husband and I don’t really make much of a fuss about it, apart from buying each other a card.
For this manicure I’ve used:
- Colour: two coats of Barry M Orchid
- Stamping polish: Barry M Foil Effects Silver
- Stamping plate: Born Pretty Store QA86
- Top coat: Glisten & Glow HK Girl

Wow! This is one of my favorite stamped manis in a while! I love the crispness and color combo. I finally gave in, BTW, and ordered my first Barry M polishes from Llarowe. This California girl now owns both Raspberry from the regular line and Blackberry from the Gelly line, and I love them both! Sadly, Llarowe is temporarily out of both Barry M’s Foil Effects polishes but I can tell now I will also be getting this Orchid color when I place my Foil Effects order. 🙂 Thanks for a beautiful shot of color and creativity in my day!
