I joined Polish Party a year ago, and so this is my twelfth manicure. The theme this month is Christmas jumpers (or sweaters for those of you of an American persuasion). It’s not an easy theme, and so far, with just a day of the month to go, it looks like I am the only one to post!

I started with one coat of Rouge Louboutin, from Christian Louboutin. Lots of people describe this polish as a one-coater, and I tend to agree, although would usually use two coats anyway. However, when you’re putting something over the top of it, one coat is perfectly sufficient.

I then stamped using the Nailz Craze plate NC 03 and Konad White. My stamping attempts were crooked, and while I didn’t care too much on my camera-shy right hand, for my left hand I chose to use the decal method. I made my decals one at a time on the stamper. I picked up the stamp and then when it had dried, added a layer of top coat. Then, after leaving it to dry again, I removed the decal and applied it to my nails, cutting off the excess and then cleaning up more closely using a brush and acetone. Even so, they’re still a little crooked!

And I was playing around with my camera’s settings and decided to take a second angle. What do you think?
