Cyan blue and silver skittlette with zigzags and studs

This is a skittlette I created to wear out with a matching cyan blue top. In the event though, I managed to dribble toothpaste down the top just before we left and so had to change what I was wearing. Typical.

The blue is Barry M Cyan Blue, a perfect formula, near single coater. It shows up a little lighter in my photos than it is in real life, but it’s a gorgeous colour. I did two coats just to even it out, but absolutely could have got away with just one thick coat, had I painted it on a bit better!

I painted zigzags using normal sized chevron Nail Vinyls and Barry M Foil Effects Silver and then added some studs: 2mm square silver studs that I’m pretty sure I bought from Born Pretty Store.

Finally, I added some sparkle using 2true Christy, a textured glitter polish, which seems to make an appearance whenever I do a skittlette based around a cool colour.

Stunning! And I hate it when toothpaste (or watery drops running down the brush) get on my clothing!
