Seventeen Charm Bracelet

Believe it or not, this is the very first textured manicure I have worn. I only own a few textured polishes. I have the black and white Barry M sequin effects ones, which I swatched but didn’t like enough to keep on my nails. And I also own one of the OPI Liquid sand polishes, a Mariah Carey one, Get Your Number. But I’ve not really been keen on the textured look, so I haven’t worn it as a manicure.

Until now, that is. And until I saw the new Seventeen Rock Hard Couture Nail Effects polishes. I was initially drawn in by Celestial Pearl, which is a pearly white textured glitter polish. When I went to buy it, I decided to buy this one too.

Charm Bracelet is a mix of small gold and tiny silver glitters in a textured base. The mix of the two colours gives an overall pale, champagne gold sort of colour. I love it. It went on well and required two coats. I thought the texture would annoy me and catch on my clothes and hair, but I’m pleasantly surprised.

Yes, I’d say they’re fairly close having looked at pictures. Would be interested to see if anyone’s done a swatch or comparison of both to see how close they are.

I have the white-ish one, its cute. I passed on this thinking it was too gold for me, but I may just have to head back…
